WHO AM I?
YOUR TRAVEL COMPANION
My name is Farzin, and at 64 years old, travel has been part of my life for more than four decades. This is the beggining of knowing about me.
My journey in the travel industry began in 1982 when I started working in travel agencies. From the very beginning, I was fascinated not only by destinations themselves, but by the people behind every journey, families going on long-awaited holidays, business travelers constantly moving between cities, and individuals discovering the world for the very first time.
Over the years, travel became more than just a profession for me. It became a way of understanding people, cultures, and the emotions that come with leaving one place and arriving somewhere new.
Later in life, I moved to Germany with my family, and that new chapter eventually led me to continue my work in the travel world at Düsseldorf Airport, where I still work today.
WHY I CREATED THIS BLOG
Working at Düsseldorf Airport means I see travel from a different perspective than most people. Every day I watch families saying goodbye, couples starting holidays, nervous first-time flyers checking their documents again and again, and tired travelers simply trying to get home after a long journey.
Being around that every day has taught me something important:
- Sometimes the smallest travel tips can make the biggest difference.
- A little preparation can turn a stressful airport experience into a smooth one.
- A simple tip can save time, money, and unnecessary frustration.
- And sometimes knowing what to expect can make someone feel much more confident before flying.
That is why I created this blog.
